RaNae Merrill was a featured presenter at the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo in Fredericksburg last fall. She taught a number of classes but my favorite was the Free Motion Mastery all day class. I've been curious about free motion quilting, but afraid to take it on, and previous attempts haven't produced great results. RaNae's class was different and inspired me to finish the class project and make a couple other quilt projects right away. Her style, sewing yoga and fun personality made the day fly by. Her resources, especially the book "Free Motion Mastery in a Month, were very helpful. I'm now able tot make quilts from start to finish on my little domestic sewing machine and I'm on a roll!
