Project: "Ribbons & Fountains & Stars, Oh My!" Point-to-Point Spiral Quilt

Skill Level: Intermediate

Prerequisites: Previous foundation piecing experience is helpful but not necessary

Learn to draw and color a Point-to-Point spiral, then design and make your own Point-to-Point spiral quilt. Working with a single Point-to-Point spiral block you'll learn how to color and combine these elegant spirals to create a quilt design with flowing ribbons, fountains, stars and more. Along the way, you'll also learn how to select fabrics by color, value and pattern, and learn techniques for foundation piecing that make it easier than ever before. You'll work on the center block in class to learn the techniques so you can finish the quilt at home. (And in case you only want to make one block, there's a placemat pattern for avoiding another UFO!)

Class kit includes preprinted foundations, instructions and two patterns on CD.
