Simply Amazing Baravelle Spirals
Learn to design and sew your own original Baravelle spiral block. Baravelle spirals are one of the simpler types among the four Simply Amazing Spirals. They have huge "Wow!" factor, yet you won't believe how easy they are! Using the techniques in RaNae's best-selling book Simply Amazing Spiral Quilts, learn to create a Baravelle spiral block, plus a variety of ways to color them -- including double-spinning spokes. You'll have time in class to sew one Baravelle spiral block. The materials list includes enough fabric for two blocks, and a pattern is provided for finishing them into a pair of pot holders.
Class kit includes preprinted foundations for a Baravelle spiral block, sewing instructions, a pattern and batting for two pot holders.
Click on "Materials & Prep List" at left for detailed materials list. RaNae's book Simply Amazing Spiral Quilts is recommended, but not required, and will be available for purchase at the workshop. (The basic information covered in this class is also contained in her second book Magnificent Spiral Mandala Quilts.) To purchase books and materials before the workshop, click on "STORE" above.
